Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

This Notice is issued by Steven Badaczewski, trading as MakerMint Magic ("MakerMint", "we", "us", "our"). For purposes of data protection law, MakerMint acts as the data controller for personal data described below.

2. Personal data we collect

• Account data: name, email, login credentials.
• Profile & shop data: business name, branding, preferences.
• Content: uploaded images, prompts, descriptions, and other content you provide.
• Support messages: emails and form submissions.
• Usage & telemetry: features used, error logs, timestamps.
• Device & network: IP address, device identifiers, browser type.

Payment data (card details, billing address) is collected and processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and is not stored by MakerMint.

3. Purposes & legal basis

• Provide the Service (contract performance): account creation, AI generation, file storage.
• Security & fraud prevention (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
• Customer support (contract performance).
• Product improvement & analytics (legitimate interests).
• Marketing emails (consent — you can unsubscribe anytime).
• Legal & accounting obligations (legal obligation).

4. Who we share data with

• Service providers / subprocessors: cloud hosting, database, file storage, email delivery, analytics, AI inference providers.
• Merchant of Record (Paddle): for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds.
• Professional advisers: legal, accounting, tax advisers.
• Authorities: where required by law or to protect rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required (UK/EEA), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to safeguard transfers.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate data.
• Request erasure ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Data portability.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (UK/EEA: ICO / local DPA). We will respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, access controls, and audited cloud infrastructure to protect your data.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies (login session, security) and a small set of analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. K&S Crafts N Things storefront (physical orders)

We also operate kandscraftsnthings.online, which sells physical handmade goods alongside digital files. If you place a physical order there, we additionally collect and process:

• Billing and shipping address — to fulfil and deliver your order.
• Order information — products purchased, digital downloads accessed, transaction history.

For those orders we share the minimum necessary information with shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) and our payment processors. See our Shipping Policy. Storefront privacy requests can be sent to support@kandscraftsnthings.online. MakerMint Magic on digitalfoundrylabs.digital is digital-only — no shipping address is collected there.

11. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Notice as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
